What is it about kids and forts? I have never met a kid who did not have an irresistible urge to drape blankets on top of whatever kind of frame they can conceive, and then just sit inside of it. Or big boxes, with windows and doors drawn on and/or cut out, and decorations drawn on. Maybe it’s their complete lack of privacy in their lives, that they feel like they are in THEIR OWN SPACE or something. I don’t know, but here is Amaria, sharing her fort with Taia. Best part of all? She actually cleans up when she is done (tomorrow, or the next day, or something).
