I finally got to meet Lisha’s boyfriend, Matt. He was very nice and polite (and handsome) but we were very awkward around each other because Lisha had told me just before he got here not to say anything that would embarrass her, nothing that would make it sound like she ever talked about him. So each time I thought of something to say, I’d think, “Nah, that makes it obvious I know all about him.” So he thought I hated him, and she felt totally awkward, and it was pretty hilarious! Now we’ll have something funny and interesting to talk about next time we meet.
