Today was Bob Bathen’s funeral, and Wendell came in for that. He is normally at church (work) every day as one of the two custodians, but a couple of weeks ago, he broke his foot at Target, and now he only comes in once a week or so, and not to work. Work just isn’t the same without him – he is VERY clean and picks up LOTS of stuff that other people miss. And empties the trash about 3 or 4 times per day. Sometimes he can get grumpy about people when we make messes. But overall, he is lovable and adorable and wonderful, and I miss him like crazy!
