090512 Mom's Family
An incredible photo - as the journaling says, the only one my mom knows of with her and both of her parents all together (gee, if she'd have known that at the time, you think she'd have paid more attention? haha!). So that's my grandma and grandpa, and also my Aunt Therese and my Aunt Phyllis. Created with Unbreakable kit by ViVa Artistry at Sunshine Studio Scraps.

See how practical digi-scrapping is? I used this kit (Summertime Grill by Creations by Rachael B) from Pretty Scrappy to create a postcard for the church I work at! Cool, huh?

My "I" page for the Enchanted Studio Scraps storybook challenge - making one page per letter and will end up with a book at the end. Used New Beginnings kit (appropriately enough) by Bonnie VanEsch.
090511 Father's Day
I made this card for Amaria to give to her dad on Father's Day this year - I made the page, she picked out what to say. I used a mini-kit made just for this purpose by LadyV Dzine at Pretty Scrappy.
090512 Egg Rolls
I was so proud of Amaria for completing two projects for the Arts & Academics Fair, so I took her out to her favorite restaurant, and let her have her favorite egg rolls. Then I made this page for STS Motto/Slogan challenge, using Scrappy Cocoa's Favorite Things kit.
090512 Welcome Brennan
My nephew, Conal, holding his new little brother, Brennan, in 2006! I created this for a tinting lesson by Hummie, and love how the blues turned out. I used an adjustment layer gradient map to first turn the photo B&W. Then I used a levels adjustment layer to make it more dramatically so. Then I merged them all and used the ctrl+U and colorize option, and found the matching color using sliders. I LOVE how this turned out, and I had the perfect monochromatic kit for it, Enchanted Evening by Jenasis Design.
Color Changing Lesson
I made this layout using Pink Coffee Cream by AWP (Vicki - A Work in Progress) for a color-change tutorial on Hummie's World. The first one I used all those adorable pink elements. But it makes Faith's face a little too pinky-looking, plus it doesn't match anything, and I thought it would look better to match Amaria's lovely blue sweater. Thus, the 2nd layout!

It's wonderful how much Taia adores her Auntie Amaria! I created this for a template challenge at Sunshine Studios using a template by Teri Merkins and using the kit Berry Zing by Sya's Blueprints.

Okay, mom, the poem came already put together, so I have nothing to do with the 2nd line! I made this page for my mom for Mother's Day, 2009, and for a word art challenge at Sunshine Studios. Using Just Peachy kit by Julie Marie.
090509 Smiling Pooh
This is one of the greatest smile pix I have EVER taken! So when I read the motto challenge this month at Enchanted Studio Scraps was "Something to Smile About" - I knew this was the pic to use! I don't remember what she was smiling about, but seeing my little girl so happy sure gives ME something to smile about! I used the Butterfly Love kit by A+ Designs.
