Have I ever mentioned that JennCK is one of my FAVE designers? I probably have, and you surely know I use her templates almost ALWAYS. Winter Nights - January BAK at Stuff to Scrap

Stuff to Scrap has this awesome thing each month - we put out one palette and as many designers as want to create mini kits or paper packs or element packs using the palette and general theme, so you can get small bits from various designers and build your own mega-kit. This month I went completely NUTS with the Build A Kit palette - first I did papers, then elements, then cardstock, and finally an alpha. You can pick up each piece of the kit for just $1.99, as well as pieces from many other designers - or just pick and choose the ones you like best!

This one is dedicated to Chawndell, the lovely daughter of Noelle - if you've been around at Stuff to Scrap, you have surely seen some of the gorgeous layouts Noelle creates with her beloved daughter! When I asked Noelle about Chawndell, she said that she loves elephants, the color purple, and has glasses - so I've taken all that and created this kit! Rainbow Bridge Charity Collab

In early September, Katina (aka The Scrappy Kat) lost her poodle, Pepe.

Pepe was a rescue dog, and Kat enjoyed his loyal, loving companionship for 15 years! Most of us can relate to losing a pet, and it is especially heartbreaking to lose one who has been a part of our family for such a long time. As we are not all in Kat's neighborhood to give her big hugs, the designers at STS have decided to give her a virtual hug, but creating a special kit called Rainbow Bridge (poem below) to honor not only the adorable, well-loved Pepe, but all the animals we love and lose in our lifetime (including my precious Humphrey, who I lost a few months back and still miss every day!). We have dogs, cats, horses; we even have lizards, bunnies, and many other kinds of pets in this kit! With a colorful rainbow palette and a ton of papers and elements showcasing all kinds of pets, this kit is perfect for ALL pet owners! The best thing about the Rainbow Bridge kit is that ALL proceeds from the kit will be donated to Katina's local Humane Society. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. I've been so crazy busy with the designer contest at The Studio, so it's been awhile since I had a new kit for you. But I've been working in the background, and soon, you may just be overwhelmed at all I have coming out!

Let's start with this one - Farewell My Summer Love. The second in my Michael Jackson tribute series (so my kit includes a link to the lovely little song, Farewell My Summer Love, by Michael Jackson on YouTube). But my good friend, Tammy - known in digi-scrap land as Mommy Me Time Scrapper - has agreed to come on and make this a collaborative effort! And she really outdid me!! Sunrise Sunset - Free Kit by Knittinjen

And might I take a moment to say - wow! I can't believe I made it to the final round, and thank all those who voted for me - there is no public voting in this last round, so this is your reward - a no pressure set of 10 AWESOME free kits!! And here are the elements - I was WAY into gradients on this kit, because I LOVE the way God paints the sky with the beautiful gradients He created at sunrise and at sunset - get it? I made some fun cluster items (frames, corners, tag) and had a great time creating this - hope you will have a great time scrapping with it!

And here are 3 close-up previews. These are what proved to myself that I was ready for this contest this year. Last year when I began to enter this contest, and read about the close-up previews, I said to myself, "I don't want to show it close-up, it won't look as good." This year, I am EXCITED to share what it looks like up close, because I think it looks GREAT up close!

MORE Apples - Freebie Add-On!

Wait - I'm adding this last, but putting it first. A special shot-out to my CT member Kendra, who helped me so much yesterday when I was home sick with no internet access! This little add-on is dedicated to Kendra!!

Well, those apples just weren't enough. For one thing, the quote was about apple seeds, and I didn't even put my seeds in the mini kit/QP! So here is the add-on. I'm rather fond of cardstock, mainly because my regular papers are so textured, that sometimes you just need something a little plainer to throw behind a photo or something. After all, it's your photos that should get all the attention, not my papers, right? Well....maybe....hahaha! Anyway, so I put together this little add-on for you - 14 cardstock papers, one additional patterned paper, and a few elements. Did I mention the QP/mini was with no CU purchased stuff, only things I created with my program and my scanner and my creativity? Well, that's all well and good, but I have no idea how to do ribbons and stitches, so on this add-on you get some of that! :) Enjoy, and watch The Studio for Round 5!! It'll be legendary! What I've Been Up To!

Well, I have been in a designer contest over at The Studio...I was anonymous for the first few weeks, so I couldn't post my freebies. But here they are, unmasked at last! I am going to be in the final round, but while I'm working on that kit, if you have missed these goodies, go get them - the previews link to The Studio where you can pick them up.

Here's my Week 1 Entry, Summer Harvest. We were given a palette and had to make a MINI MINI (3 papers, 6 elements). Click the preview to head over to The Studio to pick up this mini-mini, and see what else the other great designers have for you!

This was my Week 2 entry - we had to either do papers, elements, or clusters. Well I've been loving making clusters lately, and I'm so freakin' proud of this bunch of them, I could spit. I don't know why being proud makes me think I oughtta spit, but I'm just sayin'. Anyway, click on the preview to head to The Studio to pick up these clusters, and while you're there, you can get matching papers and elements from the other excellent Round 2 designers. But keep watching MY blog and store, because this is DEFINITELY going to be a kit (I made that fan from scratch, you know).

With A Child's Heart - Official Release!

I've already blogged about this and put it in the store, but now I am OFFICIALLY releasing this fun, colorful kit, With A Child's Heart! Complete with Guest CT layouts, quick pages I've added to the store, and even some FREEBIES!!

First up, some layouts. First, the awesome Scraps of Ellay - I've been on HER CT forever, so it was really fun to have her be on MY first guest CT! Not only that, but she has a QP freebie on her blog for you (click on layouts or the preview to head over there and pick it up).

Next up, a couple of Tammy (Mommy Me Time Scrapper) - and she has an AMAZING frame cluster freebie for you - she first used it in her Sassitude layout below, and I loved it so much, I suggested she make it the freebie - and she has! Here are a couple from Noelle, one of the hardest-working ladies in scrapland, and a dear online friend of mine - if you've been around STS, you know Noelle and her beautiful daughter, Chawndelle - how fun it is for me to see her scrapping this lovely girl with MY kits - chokes me up a bit!

Dude! You Will Never Believe This!!!

Maybe you will...guess what!?!? I AM A GUEST DESIGNER AT STUFF TO SCRAP!! Yes, and I have just uploaded my first kit, a nice little mini called Backyard Bliss. I'm love-love-loving my back yard this summer, so I thought I'd make a little kit to scrap it. Well, I'll be back with layouts maybe tomorrow, cuz I haven't even had time to scrap with it, I've been all busy setting up my first item in my store - so feel free to click on the preview to check it out. Hey, even if you aren't going to buy it (though I can't imagine why not at a measly $1.99 price haha), go check it out. It looks so lovely and pretty sitting there in the packaging of my VERY favorite digi-scrap store!! I'm so proud...maybe getting a few tears.

I'll be having a Grand Opening Sale in about a week or two (depends on how much I can get DONE and how quickly) but for now, you have the opportunity to get this kit even BEFORE that. Well I CT for a ton of people, and I've seen a bunch of AWESOME 4th of July kits lately, but I must say, this one is my hands-down fave (umm, if you are somebody other than LA that I CT for, haha, just kidding, yours is the best haha wink wink). But seriously, I love the whimsical and childlike look of this kit!! I've been with Ellay now for over a year, and I'm telling you, her designs do nothing but get better...and better...and BETTER!!

So anyway, that's my big ol' plug for Ellay in general, and here is my plug for this gorgeous kit specifically! Check out Little Firecracker at Stuff to Scrap cuz it is AWESOME!! First up, my daughter singing "Star Spangled Banner", her favorite all-time song - at least one of the few faves that are NOT by Taylor Swift!
