We had such fun with Brennan and Conal last weekend! It makes me miss them more than ever. Amaria had a good time helping Brennan go down the slide. It's so funny how it seems so huge and scary to him, and here Amaria is just pushing it across the yard! I did this for a word of the week (remember) challenge at Stuff to Scrap using Summer Days kit by DDBN & GSWB of Stuff to Scrap.

I created this layout from an old scanned photo of me & Amaria from 2002! I used the Kadoozie kit by Amanda Kay and Dezigns by Kristi of Sunshine Studios and scraplifted a layout by Wonder Girl Teri called Carol & Dominick. Merry Christmas!
My nephew, Brennan, came to mind right away when I read these lyrics. I also had to go and buy this kit, because before I even saw it, it's exactly what I had in mind when I read these lyrics! Thanks, Kristi, for having that just waiting for me. The kit is In A Dream by Kristi W at Sunshine Studio Scraps. The lyrics are from a song by Faith Hill, the layout for a May 2009 Lyric Challenge at Sunshine.
But I did say something about a freebie? Here's the QP I made with this kit - click on image to download and enjoy! Then go over to Stuff to Scrap to pick up the kit on sale for a limited time!

Created for a font challenge at Bouquet of Pixels. The font is the blue words, called Echelon. The word Taia is in KathleenInLine (appropriate cuz her middle name is Kathleen, after my mom!. The kit is Savanah Bday by CJ's Dreams. Taia is 7 months old in the pic - sitting on my desk at work in "real life".
Nathan is the sweetest little guy - Brennan's sweetness reminds me of Nathan. Zach is lucky to have such a nice little nephew - nephews are great! This layout was created with the Bahama Mama collab kit by Sunshine Studios.

I'll never forget when Ronni first became a grandma at the birth of Breanna - despite never having had children. And what a fantastic Grandma she is! This was created for a scraplift challenge at Sunshine Studio, and used Kadoozie by Amanda Kay and Designs by Kristi.
I did a tutorial on color schemes on Hummie's World, so this is a split complimentary color scheme based on Amaria's shirt. I made each thing on this page with that color scheme, and will be kind enough to stick with kits more often, as I would not like to blind everybody! You're very welcome. :)
Continuing to create pages for Amaria's 10th birthday present - a book all about her! I love this middle pic - just so cute with her little self! Created with Lily's Garden by AWP for a hue-saturation-value lesson on Hummie's World.
It was such fun doing daycare for Jordan & Dakota and Damien. Well, they kinda drove me nuts after awhile (not Damien, he was always just a sweet little guy), but still, they were such great buddies for Amaria back then! I did not use a kit for this, but made up things as I needed them, and created this for 2 different things - a color challenge at Digi Scrapbook Mania, and a patterned paper tutorial at Hummie's World.

Used the State Fair Pride kit by Share Your Moments Designs at Pretty Scrappy. Created for Font Challenge at Digi Scrapbook Mania and also at Hummie's World, same thing. Look how little and cute Zoe was! I mean, she just looks so little and round and young! The rest of them look not too different - maybe Phalen. Me and Melissa got some gorgeous kids no?
Most people seeing this will know it's not that my son is dead, but just gone wrong, and gone from me for a very long time. I used Numb3rs by Sarah (Sweet Blossom Designs) from Scrap That Idea for this page. Created for a quote challenge at Digi Scrapbook Mania.
Ashley, Amaria, and Jeffrey in 2004. Used kit Sugar Cookie by LRiches. Done for ABC challenge at Digi Scrapbook Mania, and also for Amaria's upcoming 10th birthday present! (Shhh, don't tell her)

This was for the May 2009 embellishment challenge at Digi Scrapbook Mania. I really had to dig through a TON of kits to find this newsprint! Then, the kit was called A Touch of Romance, and the newsprint was housing ads! So...I found these moving day pix, something that really needed to get scrapped anyway, and put it all together. So the kit is A Touch of Romance by Stacey's Scraps at Scrap That Idea, except the two green leaves (actually the same green leaf twice) which is by AWP Vicki at Scrap That Idea, the kit Flutterby Flowers. Whew!
I made this with a kit called Puppy Love (appropriately enough) by Vicki - A Work in Progress at Scrap That Idea. Good Ol' Zeke! Zoe-Meister. Baby - no nicknames, just a terror!! Humphrey Dumps. I just love my pups (well, 3 out of 4 anyway).
Well I'm a bit behind on knowing Sarah's kids. She just had her 6th! A boy!! So this one is #5. Isn't he adorable?
Created with a template by "the 80s me" and using a kit called Bee Attitudes which is a collab kit by Pretty Scrappy designers.

My 2 beautiful daughters, way back in summer of 2005! I used the gorgeous Summer Fun kit by Digilicious Scraps from A Cherry on Top and Digiscrapbook Mania. Purdy, eh? (Purdy is my word for the week apparently as I can't stop saying umm typing it)

The greatest gift I ever got Amaria was this trampoline! She was always jumping all over the furniture, and rather than force her to deny her nature entirely, I just got her this. She jumped all the time, but it was now okay. I made this for her Storybook from Enchanted Studio Scraps using the Hip Hip Hooray kit by Charlie's Digiscraps.
At the youngest age, Jayden and Taia paid attention to each other. I didn't think babies did that! They are best pals. This is for the Scrapper's Choice challenge at Sunshine Studios using the Walkin on Sunshine collab kit from Sunshine.

I made this page for 2 things - the "Elf Excerpt" challenge at Enchanted Studio Scraps (that top bit is part of a song called Ain't Misbehavin' by Louis Armstrong) and also for the paperclip tutorial by Hummie - if you look closely at the paperclip, you can see I made it look like it was popping up the paper below it. Cool, huh? Used Country Garden by Scrappyweiss Designs at Enchanted Studio Scraps.
This is Amaria eating watermelon at a church New Member Sunday in 2008.
Created for a "Recipe Challenge" at Stuff to Scrap using the Shabby Watermelon kit (which I LOVE) by Just For You Digi-Scraps.
Wow, that was a year ago. I can't believe she's grown so much since then! This was created for a Speed Scrap with the wonderful ladies at Stuff to Scrap using the Posh Baby kit by the awesome Jenasis Designs! (except the pink alpha - that was from Rain Rain, also by Jenasis).
Well, so, you think Jeffrey was outside a lot that summer? And remember Amaria's Wizard of Oz obsession? Thus the Dorothy dress! This was made for a "Use It Or Lose It" challenge using a mini-kit from the Posh Baby kit by Jenasis Designs at Stuff to Scrap.
This page was created for a lyric challenge - Barth Brooks has this song about unanswered prayers. And in the case of my hopefully lifelong job, that was sure true! I used the Sunshine collab kit Heaven Sent.

Amaria was so proud of her photography board at the first Arts & Academics fair she participated in. This is her FABULOUS teacher, Mrs Shea, who I truly wish could just be her teacher now for the rest of her life - she really encourages Amaria's abilities.
Created for a Color Sorcery challenge at Enchanted Studio Scraps (and also for a rounded-corner lesson at Hummie's World) using a template by Robyn Pali, and an ESS collab kit called It's A Playdate.

Amaria & Dad, hanging out in the wilderness by a fence. Or....me using my extraction skills because they were actually sitting in our living room! Used a mini-kit called Dew Drops by Teri's Thing-O-My-Jigs from Pretty Scrappy.

2-page layout from the 2005 Peltier Christmas party at Greg and Stevie's house. Just a few of my fave pix from that year. Used kit Fresh by Digi-Designs by Nicole & Stolen Moments. Created with a template by the awesome Nibbles Skribbles for Stuff to Scrap.
Poor Taia - she just hates the bath! I got her this cool duck, but it hasn't helped a bit. Ah, well.
Anyway, I made this page using a new kit by a new designer called Digilicious Designs. She has a shop (excuse me, shoppe!) over at A Cherry On Top so be sure to check her out!

This was such fun! I "painted" these doodles with PSE brush tool, and felt almost like an artist! Almost...close enough for me. I made this for Pretty Scrappy doodle challenge - doodles by Nikki, and the kit is Cheerful by Share Your Moments.
I love it when I can catch a pic of a kid mid-jump! Here's Amaria at the Morrison County Fair in 2005. For font challenge (used font Camden for word JUMP) from Enchanted Studio Scraps. Used kit Sunshine Sugar by Sara Ellis.
