The fabulous Flower Scrap has a great new kit inspired by the Orient in her store at One Single Seed. Here's what it looks like - click on image to go to her store and pick it up. I don't get to the Orient all that often (okay never) but we DO always eat at Chinese restaurants and since it is a great family tradition (obsession?) I am going to have to scrap it - so now I have something to scrap it with!

Psst: I wanted to let you in on a little secret - there is a coupon included with the download for this set and rumor has it that Manda is going to be having a sale in her store for National Scrapbook Day. Combine the coupon with the sale and you will be able to get anything and everything in her store for half price, but only for a limited time - you won't want to miss this. So hurry over and pick up Template Set 5!

Created for a color challenge at Hummie's World - found the perfect fit for the colors she chose! Didn't use a specific kit, just shapes and brushes and some CU flowers from Tootlebugz.
It was so easy to find an old kit I hadn't used since I got it. The guideline was at least 6 months ago - this one was 4 years ago! I tried my hand at digi-scrapping in 2005, made about 25 pages or so, and then came back to the digi-scrap world this spring, 2009. WOW! Things have changed. It reminds me of Star Wars special effects. The early ones were good, as this kit is. The later ones are AMAZING, as you can see by looking thru most of the other pages I have made with contemporary kits.

Created for a "white space" challenge at Hummie's World. White space doesn't necessarily mean white, so here is my version. Used a kit called "always & forever" by CGL (sorry that's all I have for the name).

Don't miss out! Speed Scraps are SOOOOO much fun! You get ready, sit down to the computer, and get one instruction every 10 minutes for an hour, so you begin creating before you even know all the rules. Then you get an hour to finish up, and you get a page that quick!
But that's not all...during the Speed Scrap, you get to chat with all the cool ladies who do the SS with you. It's really like being in a room with a bunch of famous people, because you know you've been looking at Digi-Designs by Nicole, Jenasis Design, Scraps of Ellay, etc., forever, and they're like digi-famous! And there you are, just scrappin' away and chattin' away with them! don't miss it!!
But THAT'S NOT ALL either...Just for spending your time doing something totally fun - you get this participation prize! Seriously, who'd miss it? I know I won't!! Saturday and everything, I can make it, and I sure do hope to see you there!
